To make the day extra special, we recommend setting a budget or theme for your group.
For parties with more than 10 children, we’re excited to offer a special commemorative birthday plate for the guest of honor! This exclusive keepsake is a delightful way to celebrate their big day and create a memory that will last a lifetime.
The birthday child will have the opportunity to decorate their plate however they wish. One popular and meaningful choice is to include their handprint in the center, surrounded by the names or fingerprints of their friends, making it a unique reminder of the celebration and their special guests.
The plate isn’t just for display—it’s fully food-safe, so it can be used for meals and snacks, or it can take pride of place as a decorative keepsake at home. Our friendly staff will be on hand to assist with ideas, tips, and ensuring the plate turns out beautifully.
This special plate adds a personalized touch to the party, making the birthday child feel extra special and leaving them with a tangible memory of their day. Whether it’s for meals, desserts, or simply to cherish on a shelf, the birthday plate is a heartfelt memento that they’ll treasure for years to come.
You’re welcome to bring your own food or arrange for pizza delivery to the studio. We simply ask that you take any rubbish home with you at the end of the party. To keep the pottery in perfect condition, we recommend serving food after the painting is done—greasy fingers can affect the bisque!
We’ll take care of cleaning the tables after painting, and your guests can wash their hands before enjoying the party food.
All parties must be booked in advance and confirmed with a non-refundable studio fee/deposit of £5 per painter.

Creating your own masterpiece at Rainbow Pottery is easy, fun, and perfect for all ages. Whether you’re visiting us for a family day out, a special occasion, or just a bit of creative relaxation, our simple four-step process ensures you’ll leave with a unique and beautifully finished piece to treasure. Here’s how it works:
To book a table, there is a £5 studio fee per painter, payable when booking. This covers your table reservation, use of paints, glazing, and kiln firing.
On the day of your visit, you’ll choose and pay separately for your bisque pottery item. Prices vary depending on the piece selected, with options including mugs, plates, animals, vases, plaques, money boxes, and more.
Unleash your creativity using our child-safe, non-toxic paints. We provide a variety of brushes, sponges, and other tools to help you bring your vision to life.
Don’t worry if you’re a beginner—our friendly team is always here to assist and inspire. Feel free to bring your own design ideas, or simply let your imagination run wild!
Once you’ve finished your masterpiece, leave it with us for glazing and firing in our on-site kiln.
This process enhances the durability, gloss, and vibrancy of your creation, making it a truly unique, long-lasting keepsake. The firing typically takes around 2 weeks, so your piece will be ready in no time!
Your finished pottery piece will be ready for collection within two weeks. When it’s ready, pop back into the studio to pick up your unique work of art.
